The aim of this show is to build a bridge between young and old generation to reach the common principles. We hope, that EEÜÜ FM will stay as a show made by young people, but the themes we touch should be interesting for all listeners of Tartu Family Raadio. |

| Morning
Devotional
On air: Every morning at 7.15. No repeat. Editors: Different in every week. Morning devotionals have been broadcasted daily since the same date as the morning service recordings. On Sunday, October 1, 1995, VILLU JÜRJO, Pastor of the Maarja Congregation of the EELC, introduced the first week of morning devotionals at the Tartu Family Radio. His example has been followed by a large number of Estonian ministers, not only from South Estonia but also further afield. (Since the number of assistants has been great it is easier to list those ministers who have not conducted a morning devotional than those who have.) Likewise, the so-called test broadcasts from February to September 1995 were introduced by a spiritual thought. The pioneering "sermonlet" at the Tartu Family Radio was preached on February 7, 1995, by the then Rector of the HTS, Pastor ERMO JÜRMA. |

| Morning services
On air: Sundays at 10.00 (direct) and in repeat at 17.00 from EELK Tartu Paulus Church and at 15.00 (from recording) and in repeat at 22.00 from EEKBL Tartu (Salem or Calvary) or EMK Tartu (St. Luke) church. Ever since the birthday of our radio the listener has been able to participate in the divine service of the day through the Tartu Family Radio. When we started our test broadcasts "underground" (read: without an official license) on February 7, 1995, we opted for Tuesdays for our weekly broadcasts. The reason was that Tuesday evenings were the time when divine services, primarily for students but also residents of the local city district (Annelinn), were held at the Higher Theological Seminary (HTS) (which also accommodates the Tartu Family Radio). Initially the services reached the audience live: at six sharp the microphones were switched over from the studio to the HTS Assembly Hall. The first service included a sermon by TOIVO PILLI, the then Pastor of the Tartu Calvary (Kolgata) Baptist Church, who had just returned from his studies in the U.S. The subject of the sermon was: "Do we have anything to learn from America". The Tartu Family Radio received an official broadcasting license in the summer of 1995 and launched its long broadcasting days on Sunday, October 1 of the same year. There is another reason why October 1, 1995, will go down in the short history of the Tartu Family Radio as a special date. Since then the listener has had the opportunity to participate in the Sunday morning service audiotaped in different churches in Tartu and vicinity. The program starts at 15 hours and is repeated at 21 hours each Sunday. Occasionally we have also recorded Sunday's services in the churches of Viljandi, Paide, Elva, Põlva, Otepää, Nõo, Alatskivi, Mustvee, Äksi, Laiuse, etc., etc. The only requirement for selection of the site is that it should be close enough for the audiotaper to be able to return to the studio for playback in due time after the end of the service. (Unfortunately we do not have the equipment for broadcasting live. Therefore we record the entire service as it is and play it back without any montage.) 14.01.01 is the date when first time a direct service was in Tartu Family Radio. It was through Internet and from Tartu Paulus Church. |

| Radio Serial
On air: From Monday to Friday at 18.30. Repeat: Next day at 11.10, the repeat of Friday's part is in Monday at 11.10. Editors: Different. The reading of a book as an evening radio serial was introduced into the broadcasting program of the Tartu Family Radio in 1995, that is, in the closing months of the first year of activity. At that time we used texts recorded at the Kuressaare Family Radio on the island of Saaremaa. As early as in January 1996, however, EVAR POST became the first volunteer reader to tape the memoires of HARRI HAAMER called MEIE ELU ON TAEVAS [Our Life Is In Heaven] at the Tartu Family Radio. At the requests of the listeners we have played back the book twice by now. Over the years the archives of the Tartu Family Radio have accumulated the recordings of many a valuable narrative. We have primarily looked for books that have a cultural context and Christian content. However, we also welcome autobiographical material on ecclesiastical workers. At the moment the listeners can follow the memoirs of JOHAN KÕPP called MÄLESTUSTE RADADEL [On The Paths of Memories]. We have also used a number of reminiscences by JAAN LATTIK Reading a book is that part of radio work which has added plenty of volunteers to our number. The "golden reader" of the Tartu Family Radio has turned out to be AINO LILLEMETS, a member of the Salem Baptist Church. She has mediated to the listener a number of narratives by Kristina Roy. The audience has requested to repeat two of her recordings: PHILIP INMAN's book KRISTUS TÄNAPÄEVA HAIGLAS [Christ In The Hospital Of Today] and MATHILDA WREDE's tale VANGIDE INGEL [The Angel Of Captives]. Aino has also done a great work in editing and later taping both published works, such as PATRICIA ST. JOHN's book VALGUSE TÄHT [The Star of Light], and manuscripts, such as the valuable volume HUDSON TAYLOR JA HIINA SISEMAA MISJONITÖÖ [Hudson Taylor and China's Inland Mission] written by HORWARD TAYLOR. The listener's favorites also include CATHERINE MARSHALL's "CHRISTY" read by VIIVE MÄESARAPUU and VILLI PETRITSKI's VALGUS DZUNGLIS [Light In The Jungle], a book on the life and work of Albert Schweitzer taped by RAJA VIIRA. Several publications of Christian content have been audiotaped for the audience by SULEV KIVASTIK. The list of volunteer serial readers also includes MARE TAMM, AIVI REBASE, TIINA KÄHR-UNT, TATJANA PEETERSOO, MERLE KANGUR, AARE VILU, IVO PILL, DANIEL MAASING, AGO PÄRTELPOEG, and ALO KURVITS. It is a particular pleasure to listen to a book on cassettes that is recorded by its own author. The RÄNNU RAIDI PÄRIS PÄEVIK [The Roving Raid's Real Record] has been made audible at the studio of the Tartu Family Radio by KALJO RAID from Toronto, a long-time pastor, composer, musician, and writer. On his part, ALEKSANDER PARTS, a resident of Tartu, proved to everyone that it is never too late to volunteer for Christian work by audiotaping JOHANNES HIIEMETS's booklet TAEVA JAAN [Jaan of Heaven] at the age of 89! |

| Guest Studio
On air: Fridays at 19.00 Repeat: Next day at 13.00 and next week in Tuesday at 23.00. Editors: Mare Pihlak and Valter Rooso. Personal acquaintance through the radio--why not? One of the most popular among the audience, the so-called "persona"-program is one of the oldest headings on the broadcasting list of the Tartu Family Radio. Over the five years of activity the radio has hosted a host of people. Each dialogue on one's past, with its failures or accomplishments, easier or harder choices, studies and work has been a testimony in its own right. We produce the program in the hope that its witness will also strengthen the listener. |

Full of expression, poetry is a tool for casting the world around us in words. The serial THE LANGUAGE OF POETRY introduces spiritual poems, published or buried deep in the drawer, from various authors. |
|
| Country Folks'
Morning
On air: Saturdays at 10.00. Repeat: Next day in early morning at 00.00. Editor: Hillar Peets. When the serial that had become familiar to the listeners over the previous decades by a COCK-A-DOODLE-DOO at its beginning suddenly proved redundant on the state radio we offered the producer of the serial Hillar Peets an opportunity to continue communicating with the listeners on the wavelengths of the Tartu Family Radio. We assume that issues concerning land, forest, and agricultural production deserve the attention of more people than just country folks. After all, these issues have a direct relationship with a more even development of the different regions of Estonia, the availability of jobs everywhere, and in the most simplified terms also the security of the home, the health of the family and the abundance of food on the national table. |

Editor: Uudo Rips and Riivo Must. In Bible studies we make use of the archive of christian speeches recorded by the late Jaan Reisalu, a member and a deacon of the Tallinn Kalju Church. We also possess recordings of sermons by Osvald Tärk, Robert Võsu, and many others. There are 750 recordings of O. Tärk's sermons available, with the oldest dating back to the 1960's. The series is produced by avolunteer and faithful contributor to the Tartu Family Radio, Uudo Rips, who prepares the programs in the basement studio of his home. These old recordings are on air Mondays, Wednesdays and Fidays. In fall 2003 Osvald Türk's comments of Psalms go on air. When Uudo Rips recorded christian
speeches in Tartu 30 years ago he even did not know himself why he was doing it. God gave the
order but no explanations. The latter did not come until 30 years later with the birth of the
TartuFamily Radio. Today the speeches recorded then have turned into the radio's "gold-mine".
Here are many sermons recorded from this broadcast (in realaudio files). | |

The studioof the Radio Academy has hosted professors and students from the local high schools, University of Tartu, the Higher Theological Seminary, and the Tartu Theological Academy. Over the five years, a range of topics from church history to new religions has found a devoted listener through this serial. |

| Wish For Peace
On air: Fridays at 22.00. Repeat: Next day at 15.00 and next week in early Friday morning at 00.00. Editor: Lauri Beekmann. Our world is full of wrong thoughts and fears which prison modern urbanized human, who is gone away of nature and Creator. But so often God has a message to us: "Don't be afraid, dear child, with me all these things are diiferent. Come with me and you must not be afraid. I've got a wish for peace!" A friend told me once that in this show I try to find peace myself too. That's exactly how it is. Most of all I yearn peace into my heart, the one which doesn't go away, when someone says badly to me, when conditions all over me are bad or even destructive; the peace which calms down these outer conditons. God offers us this peace and that's what I try to find in these walks of thoughts. "I give you the peace, I give you my peace, I don't give like world gives. Your heart should be strong and shouldn't be afraid." Jh. 14:27. |

Editors: Margus Einlo (editor in Tallinn Family Radio), Mare Pihlak. According to the claims of the Western theory of journalism a Christian radio station has one of the steadiest audiences. So far we lack our own studies of that format. However, proceeding from the premise that the listener of a Christian radio would not change the channel just for fun he may miss a fair amount of important information, endeavors, and events going on in society. To subscribe to a newspaper, however, is not nearly within the means of everyone in the financial straits of today. Hence the desire to use this serial for keeping our listener informed about the events on the state and local levels. The studio of the Tartu Family Radio has hosted municipal and rural representatives, government ministers, MP's, more or less popular public figures as well as ordinary citizens who have a say on a topic of general interest. |
