The year 1998 might be called a year of new management at the Tartu Family Radio. The experiences gained in America were applied in Estonian circumstances. The first fund raising activity, the Tartu Family Radio Days 98, was held, with Leg 1 conducted in spring and Leg 2 in the fall. There was no guarantee that the model of management working in the US would also work in Estonia. However, our listeners realized that the Tartu Family Radio needs help to survive, and help came. The two legs of the Tartu FR Days raised almost 300, 000 kroons.
