Support from local congregations became more organized, too. On March 2, 1998, the synod of the Tartu Deanery of the EELC unanimously decided to start supporting the Tartu Family Radio by four kroons per member each year. Support from Baptist churches was more irregular; however, the total from the offerings organized there was more or less equal with that from the Lutheran churches. The Estonian Christian Ministries also continued their support of the Tartu Family Radio.
